Hello again. Below is some further information about myself focusing on my most recent experiences and educational achievements.

I believe in a holistic approach to the visual arts and value education a lot. This is perhaps why in 2014 I decided to go back to university for my second masters degree - Masters in 3D Computer Animation. It genuinely thrills me to learn new things - and perhaps student life has something to do with it I hear you say! Indeed. Time flew and I eventually graduated from my masters with a distinction and got to wear a fancy outfit and a hat!

Prior to sitting for the masters at Bournemouth, I worked for three years for Coca-Cola in Malta preparing artwork and motion graphics animation for marketing campaigns for Coca-Cola products. During this period of time I was lucky enough to work very close to other Coca-Cola designers / creative agencies from around the Europe and had the opportunity to  grasp a thorough understanding of what it truly entails to manage and handle an international brand of such magnitude.

I am also a practicing contemporary artist. In 2010 I graduated with my first masters degree in Fine Art (also with a distinction) from the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury, Kent UK. I represented Malta at the Art Biennale for young artists from Europe and the Mediterranean in 2009 and had my first solo exhibition at the Embassy of Malta in Paris in 2013. In 2012 I won the first edition of 'Divergent Thinkers' - a competitive art exhibition for young emerging artists in Malta and was awarded space for a solo exhibition and a 6 weeks residency at the Virginia Centre for the Creative Arts in the USA.

Although I have a very good understanding of the debate between form vs function, my Fine art practice gives me a very strong creative background and an ability to look at commercial work from different perspectives and think laterally.
